A well-acted movie, but not a well written one, in my opinion. While the story is engaging, the ending really leaves something to be desired. The antagonist just isn't despicable enough for you to want to see him go down so hard, and the protagonist isn't likeable enough for you to care whether or not he gets the justice he wants, in the end.
I didn't feel like it was terrible, but it wasn't spectacular. Would I recommend it? Eh. Only if you have a huge Ryan Gosling or Anthony Hopkins boner. Otherwise, it's not as impressive as a movie starring those two should be.
